First, we pledge that only safe and healthy people will visit our customers’ sites and we will be well on the day of attendance with no signs of illness in the past two weeks’. This includes any family the staff member lives with.
We will where appropriate wear a face mask and where appropriate we may also wear disposable gloves. On entry to the property we may ask if we can wash our hands and/or we may also apply sanitizer.
During the visit we will practice social distancing where we must be 2 meters apart where possible. Engineers will complete a site specific risk assessment before commencing any works to ensure we can continue safely.
To limit social contact, where possible, all paperwork will be signed online or via an app. If this cannot be achieved, then hands must be sanitised before and after contact with the engineers device. Photographic evidence will be taken of works carried out and emailed to avoid unnecessary meetings/contact.
Transport will be limited to single vehicle occupancy where possible and each staff member will check their temperature daily with none touch devices.
Any member of staff returning to work must sign a declaration to say they are fit and well to attend work. This applies whether an individual is attending work in the office or site visits. It is also the responsibility of each member of staff to alert the line manager and HR should that situation change.
All staff and visitors will wash hands on entry or alternatively hand gel will be made available on entry to the office.
Social distancing will be practiced at all times by staff, and staff will have an empty desk next to them. Staff may choose to wear face masks when in the office.
Cleaning products for desks, phone, screen, handles will be available on desks and it is advisable that all items are cleaned at least twice daily.
