In the beginning 

Starting at the very beginning, 4200BC to be exact, metal fabrication was first introduced when copper was used for fashioning jewellery and for making crude tools.  It was at this point that the path was paved for metal fabrication to continue to evolve and develop, using raw materials and processes, to offer us the finished products that we make use of today.  When we talk about fabrication, what we’ve mentioned above about copper being made into jewellery is just that – taking a raw material and making it into something that you can use.    In its simplest form this is the process of fabrication.  Aluminium fabrication is one of the processes that is growing in popularity as the benefits of using aluminium are wide and varied.  So much so in fact, that today aluminium is one of the most used metals in the metal industry.  Aluminium has so much to offer; it is entirely flexible to any situation.  It is lightweight yet extremely strong, resistant to corrosion, and it conducts heat and electricity really well.  Not all metals can offer these combined qualities, and so aluminium has become the perfect fit for many specific applications.  Especially applications where the metal is not to be affected by magnets!

Fabrication is the process of turning metal, aluminium to be precise, into something useful.  From everyday appliances to shop fronts and roller doors, etc. the process of fabrication plays an integral part in the innovations we now have.  Aluminium fabrication is often chosen for the aesthetic properties it can offer.  Especially when it is used on commercial properties in the form of entrance and exit doors for example, with a colour anodised or a simple brush pattern finish, the end product being fabricated can be very specific.  For aluminium fabrication to be perfect, it has to be carried out by specialists.  Those with the right tools for welding, the experience, and knowledge on how best to perfect the fabrication process, all to achieve the best possible results.  Aluminium fabrication can include:
